As we think about Thanksgiving, please remember that there are those
in the Greater Montgomery area who are in need, not only of physical
food but spiritual food and healing. Remember that "we" are the hands
and feet of Christ in all we do. Holidays are very hard for many people
here in the River Region.
Also, as our nations struggles with
the issues of our time, let's always remember that invoking fear is not a
loving thing to do. There are 365 verses on "do not fear" in the Bible.
I think the Lord wants us to trust those promises.
Let's be the
example to all, especially those who don't know the Lord. Let's share
with others this holiday season that Jesus IS our Comforter, our
Strength and Redeemer and we don't have to fear anything!

November is National Adoption Month
"The Christian who is pure and without fault, from God the Father’s point of view, is the one who takes care of orphans and widows, and who remains true to the Lord—not soiled and dirtied by his contacts with the world". James 1:27 (TLB)
What will be your response to this scripture? Look at the map attached here for Alabama.
