Justice and Peace

Proverbs 29:26 

"Many seek the face of a ruler, but it is from the Lord that a man gets justice".

I want to put that before us today with ALL that is going on around the world, in our country, our state and even our city. Seeking out a "person" to solve injustices will never work. Humans are not flawless, we are broken individuals who need the grace and wisdom that only our Lord God can give. 

As you go about your day, as you see the news around the world, look to the Lord to provide justice and peace, not another human being. If we put our trust in mankind to stop all the violence and pain, we will continue to be sorely disappointed. It is just not possible for a human to dispense justice the way the Lord can. 

Praying for ALL our cities and towns and communities today. Spend time this week focusing on God's justice, not human justice.
