Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do. – Mother Theresa

Here are some verses to pray over our schools in Greater Montgomery. Pray for students, parents, teachers and administration. Pray for public, private and homeschoolers. A difference can be made in hearts through prayer.
Proverbs 22:6 “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
Deuteronomy 32:2 “Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.”
2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
1 Peter 3:15 “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
James 3:1-2 “Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.”
Titus 2:7-8 “In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.”
Proverbs 4:13 “Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.”
Lord be with leaders in our schools...administration, teachers parents and others who care about schools in the Greater Montgomery area. Help our churches to walk beside them as they teach and grow students.
