Pardon the Criminal?
CRIME-On
this last week of our prayer focus on CRIME as one of the 5 issues that
Greater Montgomery struggles with, read this verse and ponder these
questions.
Isaiah 55:6-7 “Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the
unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may
have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon".ESV
What are you doing to tell others who may have committed a crime, hurt
someone else or broken the law, about this verse and how they can come
to the Lord who can have compassion and help them start over?
We can complain all the time about crime in our city but are we doing anything about it?
Are we "getting the message" of forgiveness and renewal out to those who need it?
Wondering what what happen if we all shared this verse today with
someone who may need God's forgiveness and strength to "turn around"???
Every week, you will receive prayer requests relevant to the FIVE issues that were identified for the Montgomery area(see history below)if you follow this blog.
We all know that prayer can change things. Montgomery needs prayer warriors like you who can stand in the gap for the people of Montgomery.
Thank you for joining this effort to pray for this city.
